WORD PROBLEM! FUN! lololololol. A Spa makes $10 on each pedicure and $17 on each foot massage.?

A pedicure takes 15 minutes, a massage takes 45 minutes, and there are 3 employees who each work 8 hours per day. If the spa can schedule 50 appointments per day, how many should be pedicures and how many should be massages in order to maximize profit? What is the maximum profit? Please work out for best answer :) Thank you!WORD PROBLEM! FUN! lololololol. A Spa makes $10 on each pedicure and $17 on each foot massage.?
27 Pedicures, 23 Foot Massages

Each worker works a full 8 hr day

Total revenue: $661

Each worker can work 8 hrs*60 min in each hour*3 employees=1440 minutes of labor each day

It is more cost effective to work all pedicures @ $40/hr, but you can only do 50 procedures therefore... Total revenue: $500

What if you do all Foot Massages? Everyone works all day and you perform 32 foot massages...Total revenue: $544

Obviously we need to combine the services to maximize profits.

The best way to do this is to schedule 27 pedicures@$10 each

---%26gt;Revenue $270 with a total of 405 labor minutes

And 23 Foot Massages@$17 each

---%26gt;Revenue $391 with a total of 1035 labor minutes

No breaks for the employees and you make the most money!WORD PROBLEM! FUN! lololololol. A Spa makes $10 on each pedicure and $17 on each foot massage.?
